Legendary filmmaker James Cameron has responded to the news that Avengers: Endgame has surpassed his own Titanic to become the second-biggest box office success ever.
Posting on Twitter, Cameron addressed his message to Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige and everyone else at Marvel. He said, "An iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took the Avengers to sink my Titanic. Everyone here at [Cameron's production company Lightstorm Entertainment] salutes your amazing achievement. You've shown that the movie industry is not only alive and well. It's bigger than ever!"
