Sega has announced that the release date for Sonic Adventure DX will be June 19 in Japan. Sonic Adventure DX will have two stage modes. In the adventure stages, the game is played with a storyline like an RPG. In the action stages, the game will play with full-speed traditional Sonic-style action. Like the original Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast, the game will also feature six characters: Sonic, Tales, Knuckles, Amy, Big, and E-102 Gamma. Each character will have its own storyline in the game and will also have unique minigames such as fishing, shooting, and treasure finding.
