Phantom Crash arrives in stores-January 2024
Jan 3, 2025 5:05 PM

Encore and Phantagram have today shipped Phantom Crash to stores in North America. The game, which was developed by Genki, is set in the year 2025 when the city of Tokyo has become so badly polluted that a new capital city called Neo Tokyo has been constructed inside a dome. The old city has since become the location for a new sport known as "rumbling," in which players face off against each other in highly mobile armored mechs known as "scoobees."

One of the key features of the game is the ability for players to construct their own mechs using a vast array of parts that include more than 65 different weapons, more than 150 different armor and body parts, more than 200 decals, and more than 50 different paint schemes. In addition to the story-driven single-player game, the game includes a deathmatch mode where up to four players will be able to do battle simultaneously.

"We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Phantom Crash in stores," said Robert Westmoreland, CEO of Phantagram Interactive. "As our first console release in North America, it will be the first of many that we will copublish with Encore."
