According to Chinese web site Sega-Asia several members of SNK's development teams have left their jobs to join the ranks of Capcom. It is speculated that Capcom plans to staff a new gaming division with the new hires, focused on 2D development. No further details are available and Capcom was not available for comment.
SNK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aruze, a major gambling company in Japan. Recently, Aruze discontinued the US and European operations of SNK.
