On Deck Interactive, a division of Gathering of Developers, has released information about the weapons found in its upcoming arcade-action shooter, Serious Sam. The game is in development at Croteam, and it follows the adventures of Special Forces veteran Sam "Serious" Stone as he tries to save the human race from annihilation. In order to accomplish his mission, Sam must travel back in time to visit ancient Egypt. The game features a number of weapons, including a military knife; the Schofield .45 with TMAR, a single-action gun with manual reloading; the 12-gauge double-barrel coach gun, and the 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. In addition, players will have access to the XM214-A minigun, which fires 1200 rounds per minute, and the XPML21 rocket launcher, which fires 85 150mm missiles per minute.
