Blizzard has launched the European Web sites for its hotly anticipated massively multiplayer role-playing game World of Warcraft. The German, French, and English versions of the Web site are maintained by Blizzard's new local European World of Warcraft team, which will also manage the localization and operation of the European version of the game once it launches. In the meantime, the European Web sites will report on the upcoming closed beta on the continent and will soon include local community forums. Blizzard says that it expects to notify selected European beta testers in the next few weeks.
