Pokemon fans can catch a glimpse of the upcoming Pokemon the Movie 2000 in WB Network's The Power of One: The Pokemon 2000 Movie Special - a half-hour special featuring favorite Pokemon characters and songs created for the upcoming movie soundtrack. The special will air nationally on the WB Network on Sunday, July 16, at 8pm Eastern and Pacific. Viewers will be treated to clips from the movie and will see six brand new Pokemon characters, including Lugia, a character that plays a key role in helping Ash restore balance to the world.
The special also features such celebrities as Christina Aguilera, Weird Al Yankovic, members of 'N Sync, Kobe Bryant, Donna Summer, and Nickelodeon's Kel Mitchell. Pokemon the Movie 2000 opens in theatres nationwide on July 21.
