In light of ongoing protests advocating racial justice and police reform, several game publishers and studios have offered statements of solidarity and monetary donations. Mojang has now outlined its own plans, which will give all Minecraft video game profits to racial justice organizations on June 19.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Mojang said it will donate all profits earned that day from Minecraft, the Minecraft Marketplace, and the newly-launched Minecraft Dungeons to three organizations. Those are the Black Lives Matter Foundation, the Equal Justice Initiative, and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
"We stand in unwavering support of the Black community, denouncing the racism, oppression, and suffering endured by so many for so long," reads the statement. "As a team, we've been listening, learning, and considering how we can contribute to the powerful movements pushing for equality and justice in the US and around the world. Because Black Lives Matter."

As noted in the statement, June 19 marks Juneteenth, which celebrates the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Mojang didn't give an estimate as to how much may be raised with one day of profits, but Minecraft is consistently one of the most popular games in the world.
