A look at Newbee's in-game roster shows that Gong 'ZSMJ' Jian is no longer present in the team, suggesting that Banana will be replacing him in Newbee. The announcement has been translated below.

　　The newly formed team has so far struggled to make an impact on the Dota 2 scene after being knocked out on their debut in the Sina Cup 3 qualifiers to the CIS team.

　　Thus far, Chinese fan reactions to the announcement have leaned largely towards being negative. Reactions have ranged from "TI4 will have nothing to do with you", to "Stupid team that kicks ZSMJ", to many varieties of colorful flaming, with positive fan reactions few and far between.

　　At this point, Newbee is basically the TongFu roster that placed highest of Chinese teams at TI3, plus xiao8. The clock is ticking to TI4, however, and it will be interesting to see how they work with this change.
