LucasArts confirmed that Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II level designer Ingar Shu will leave LucasArts at the end of this week.
Shu joins other JK:DFII alums who have recently chosen to follow their muse elsewhere. "If they find new creative opportunities, LucasArts won't stand in their way," Tom Sarris of LucasArts told GameSpot News Thursday.
JK:DFII's Ray Gresko and Justin Chin, lead programmer and project leader respectively, both left LucasArts recently. " were logical in terms of timing, as they had finished their project...and weren't assigned to any yet," Sarris said.
Dark Forces II was released last November and can easily be considered one of LucasArts' top titles.
Sarris said, "We're sorry to see people go," but he also said that LucasArts wished Shu success.
Shu had been with Lucas Arts for four years. He is reportedly joining Gresko in Gresko's start-up development house.
