Interactive Magic announced its plans for ShockForce, an online shooter where players will pilot heavily armed hovertanks and take on up to 63 other opponents at any one time.
I-Magic is encouraging the formation of ShockForce squads or clans with its squad "radio channels" feature - audio channels specific to each clan, which can be heard only by clan members allowing coordination of action during gameplay.
I-Magic plans on releasing ShockForce in early 1999.
