Nearly a month after its release, Disney Interactive's Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the game fashioned on the hit TV quiz show, is still the best-selling PC game in the US, according to the PC Data top ten Hits List for the week ending December 18, 1999. Of course, Millionaire's US$19 price tag has to be one of the reasons that the game has been in the top slot for three weeks in a row.
Other top sellers this week include Hasbro's RollerCoaster Tycoon (second place), a game that has been on PC Data's top ten list for nearly six months; Microsoft's Age of Empires II (third place); and Quake III Arena from Activision (fourth place). The rest of the list remains largely unchanged, with games like Frogger, Deer Hunter III, SimCity 3000, and Toy Story 2 Action Game populating more or less the same slots as last week.
The entire PC Data list is posted below, for your convenience.
