Less than two weeks before it was set to shake down stores, Gangland has been delayed until March 3. "Gangland is gearing up for release and gamers are in for a hell of a ride," said Fred Heslop, President of Whiptail Interactive, the game's publisher. "We wanted to iron out a few minor details to ensure the finest gaming experience."
Developed by Danish studio MediaMobsters, Gangland puts players in charge of a Sicilian gang in a fictional 1920s metropolis. The game has several modes which combine elements of simulation, role-playing, and real-time strategy, letting players manage their criminal empire, start their own Mafia family, or wage war on city streets. GameSpot's preview has more on the as-yet-unrated PC game, which will retail for $49.99.
