Ant Simulator Business Partners Respond To Main Developer Accusations-October 2024
Oct 16, 2024 6:36 PM

Yesterday, the main developer behind the interesting Ant Simulation has revealed that the development of the game has been cancelled due to his business partners, Tyler Monce and Devon Staley, spending the ETeeski LLC money on things not related to the development of the game. Every story, especially one as controversial as this one, has two sides and the two have today responded to the accusations moved by Eric Terenshinski.

Speaking with Game Informer about the matter, Tyler Monce and Devon Staley have painted a rather different picture on what happened. They don't know why Eric Terenshinski has said what he did, and stated that anything that was spent in a bar or restaurant was very reasonable in nature, and it was all part of their operating budget.

“I don’t know why he’s painting that picture, but the reality is that anything that was spent in a bar or restaurant was very reasonable in nature when you look at any business, including video game companies. It was part of our operating budget, it’s not anything that was excessive. It was all reported to the IRS. The picture he’s painting about that is 100 percent bull****.”

Tyler Monce, who served as director of finance for the company, also stated that the books were open and there was no opportunity for clandestine embezzlement, because Terenshinski had access to all the data.

So, what really happened between the three business partners? Hard to say, at this point. According to Mr. Monce and Mr. Staley, things started going bad back in November 2015, when Terenshiki decided to cut ties with the rest of the company, taking control of everything related to the company.

“He took control of not only all the company’s physical property, our bank accounts, our social media accounts, our website (which he changed to just our faces for some unknown reason), that was all him. This all started to take place right after the game started to get really popular late in the summer. My personal theory is that he wanted to take it all for himself and cut us out of it. We made it clear that we weren’t going to let him do that, because we had a moral and legal right not to."

One thing is for certain at this point: things are not over yet. Mr. Monce and Mr. Staley are planning to pursue legal action against Mr. Terenshinski and more is definitely going to come in on the matter.
