The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyphs are an important facet of the campaign. They lead to cutscenes that show the backstory, supplementing what you'll learn as you continue to explore the game world. Here's our guide to help you with finding all 11 Geoglyphs as part of the Geoglyphs and the Dragon's Tears questline in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Because this questline will take place over the course of a great portion of the game, you should proceed with a spoiler warning.

A more opaque/darker "tear" - This is the Dragon's Tear, a small pool of water that you can interact with. Once you do that, you'll watch a cutscene, which can be replayed via the Memories tab.Small rock - Each Geoglyph also has at least one small rock. Pick it up and you'll receive a Korok Seed.Gallery
Left: The darker shade implies that it's where you'll find the pool of water or Dragon's Tear; Right: Koroks are hiding under small rocks.
In any case, you can see two images of the world map showing the Geoglyphs in the game:

In the distance, you'll see a Hot Air Balloon platform. Talk to the NPC, Impa, and she'll tell you about the Geoglyph patterns. The idea is to reach high up in the air to see the pattern. You can drop flint and wood under the balloon to make it rise to the sky. From there, you'll notice the first drawing, which is of a Zonai (probably Rauru). The Dragon's Tear is the pool in one of the eyes. Interact with it and watch the cutscene, then talk to Impa. This will lead you to the Forgotten Temple further north.
Fly up using the balloon to see the pool of water/Dragon's Tear. The inner chamber has a design depicting the world map, with the Geoglyph patterns also shown. You can either take a photo of that using the Purah Pad Camera, or refer to the featured image and map images in our guide. In any case, we list down the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyphs and Dragon's Tear locations:
Akkala's Swirly Beach has the 12th Dragon's Tear.Make your way there to interact with another pool of water. This scene will show the culmination of this branch of the story, giving you a glimpse as to what may have happened. For your efforts, you should unlock the 12th Memory.
Likewise, the surrounding area has several Silent Princess flowers, which can be used to make Sneaky Elixirs. One more thing of note is that this may have something to do with the true ending of the game, but we've yet to confirm that.
