TOKYO - Aside from Beatmania and Pop'n Music, Konami has yet another music game coming to the PlayStation. This one is also a port of a popular arcade title - the arcade version of DDR plays just like Beatmania or Pop'n Music. Just push the right buttons as you are instructed. But in this game, you have to push the buttons with your feet. The PlayStation version of DDR can be played with a normal controller, but of course Konami hasn't forgotten about maintaining that arcade feel. It will release an exclusive controller called, as one would expect, the Dance Dance Revolution Controller.
It's a mat just like the old NES Power Pad. You spread it out on the floor and step on it with the onscreen commands. It can be played with two players simultaneously. This game is pretty good exercise for gamers, too. Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation is slated for release this spring.
