Microsoft today launched the web version of Xbox Video at video.xbox.com, allowing users to watch TV shows and movies, including those they may have purchased from another Windows device.

　　Right now, high-definition streaming is not supported. HD streams are currently available on Xbox Video for Windows 8.1 and Xbox One. Microsoft has provided no indication as to when HD playback will be available.

　　The Xbox Video web portal's design is similar to the layout for Xbox Music, with search and library options positioned on the left and media playback on the right.

　　As for pricing, individual episodes of shows like Family Guy or The Walking Dead cost $2 each, while movies like World War Z and Star Trek: Into Darkness are available for $4-$5 to rent or more to purchase.
