On Jan. 13, FX will air the premiere episode of its new show, Chozen, but Xbox One owners will be able to watch it a week early, on Jan. 6, exclusively through the FXNOW app for Xbox One.
There are a lot of ways to watch television using Xbox One. You can plug your cable feed directly into the system, or you can use Verizon's app to stream up to 74 channels. However, the early Chozen premiere will be available only through the FXNOW app.
You'll also need to be an Xbox Live Gold member and customer of AT&T U-Verse, Comcast, Cablevision, Suddenlink, or WOW. In addition to Chozen, subscribers to these providers can use their credentials on the Xbox One FXNOW app to get free, next-day access to FX shows.
Chozen is an animated comedy from the creators of Archer and Eastbound & Down. It follows the exploits of Chozen, a gay white rapper fresh out of prison who's trying to make it in the not quite hospitable world of rap music. Saturday Night Live's Bobby Moynihan voices Chozen. Comedian Hannibal Bures, actor Michael Peña, and rapper Cliff “Method Man” Smith also star in the show.
