This week is about much more than just the main WWE PPV. It's a whole period of WWE programming, including NXT: Takeover, Axxess, and of course, the Hall of Fame. Each year, the sports entertainment company honors its premiere athletes from the past by immortalizing their contribution to the world of wrestling in its hall of fame. As the Wrestlemania match card has continued to be filled out, so too has the Hall of Fame roster, with more than a dozen people making it in this year.

　　Another solo act has been added to the upcoming 2019 WWE Hall of Fame. Former tag team champion and host of the interview segment "The Barber Shop," Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will be inducted during Wrestlemania weekend event. He's best known for cutting opponents hair after defeating them and for the breakup of The Rockers on The Barber Shop. We've now learned Brutus will be inducted into the HoF by Hulk Hogan. In the late '80s and early '90s, the two joined forced as a tag known as The Mega Maniacs. The pair actually wrestled together as Wrestlemania IX against Money Inc., only to lose (which in turn led to Hogan taking on Yokozuna in an exceptionally short match in which he won the WWF title).

It helped launch the careers of everyone involved, through comedic antics and memorable segments. All of the members of the group--aside from early member/manager Rick Rude--are included for the Hall of Fame. That includes Triple H, who will also be wrestling against Batista at Wrestlemania, although he's raised some concerns about the possibility of his linger pec injury.

　　In addition, 10 time WCW Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat are entering as well. Both Booker T and Steve Ray were a dominant force in WCW and the most prolific tag team in the company during this time.

　　The Hart Foundation also gets inducted in 2019, but only Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. The tag team's manager Jimmy Hart won't be included nor will later members of the group Owen Hart, British Bulldog or Brian Pillman. Hart and Neidhart won the WWF Tag Team Championships twice during their early run. As the group grew, they had plenty of accomplishments: Owen won the 1994 King of the Ring, Bret was WWF Champion, Bulldog was European Champion, Owen was Intercontinental Champion twice, and Owen and Bulldog won the Tag Team Championship.

　　The longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time, Honky Tonk Man, gets this year's honor as well. The wrestler was an iconic heel during the '80s and early '90s. Torrie Wilson, who competed in both WCW and WWE during the early '00s, gets the honor of joining the hall as well. Lastly, this year's Warrior Award goes to none other than WWE employee Sue Aitchison. Throughout her 30 year career with the company, she's a part of community outreach programs and built the relationship with the Make-A-Wish foundation.
