Mere hours after the release of World of Warcraft's Warlords of Draenor expansion, some players have already hit the game's new level cap. Eurogamer reports today that there are already plenty of level-100 players running around Azeroth, following the expansion's release at midnight last night.
Entering the "/who 100" command on the European server Bloodscalp yielded 24 level-100 players, though some were visiting from other servers.
How did they reach the cap so quickly? Eurogamer says some players simply executed on leveling strategies practiced in the game's beta.
Warlords of Draenor is World of Warcraft's fifth expansion, and it won't be the last. Developer Blizzard Entertainment already has plans in place for the next expansion, and contends that the game will still be around in 2024. World of Warcraft celebrates its tenth anniversary this month.
