Codemasters has today announced that it has signed snooker celebrity John Virgo to appear in World Championship Snooker 2003. Virgo will join Dennis Taylor in providing commentary for the snooker matches in the game, and he will also host and star in the game's special trickshot mode.
The trickshot mode will challenge players to complete 20 different shots of the kind that John Virgo is famous for, such as the leap of faith, the caterpillar, the might red, and the impossiball. In addition to full snooker and trick shots, World Championship Snooker 2003 includes a complete pool simulation and a number of minigames.
