It's not the first heavy metal Witcher 3: Wild Hunt video we've ever seen, but this new video from YouTube user Chris Tranmer is quite impressive.
Watch as Tranmer covers the game's "Sword of Destiny" song with an all-new metal flair. Distortion and double bass pedals aren't in the original song, but this video shows they are quite fitting.
"I've wanted to do a cover of this for a while and I've finally got around to doing it," Tranmer wrote. "Very pleased with how it turned out."
This video has even caught the attention of Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red, which shared the video through its official Twitter account.

The Witcher 3 launched in May for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The open-world RPG sold more than 4 million copies during its first two weeks on sale. The game's free DLC campaign wraps up with a New Game Plus mode, while the first of its two paid expansions will launch in October.
