Those who haven't quite gotten their fill of puzzle games and sports sims on the Wii are in luck this week, as the latest additions to Nintendo's virtual library carry just those descriptors. Also coming to the platform this week is a Commodore 64 throwback, while EA and Nintendo expand their respective MySims and Clubhouse Games franchises on the DSi.
Nintendo's You, Me & the Cubes is available through the WiiWare channel today for 1,000 points ($10). Billed as an action puzzler, the game tasks players with balancing an increasing number of creatures known as Fallos on platforms built of cubes. The game features "dozens" of single-player stages, as well as a cooperative mode for up to two.
Aksys Games' four-player Family Tennis can also be purchased for Nintendo's console this week for 500 Wii points ($5). Meanwhile, Last Ninja 2, an exploration-heavy action game that was originally released for the Commodore 64 in 1988 is also available for 500 Wii points ($5).
As its title suggests, Nintendo's Clubhouse Games Express: Strategy Pack includes five strategy-based games: Backgammon, Field Tactics, Turncoat, Connect Five, and Grid Attack. The game accommodates play for up to eight and can be purchased for 500 DSi points ($5). Also indicative of its title, MySims Camera integrates with the DSi's photo-maker, with players able to place their MySims characters into any photograph. It costs 200 DSi points ($2).
