　　We mapped every kill in the world championship and sectioned off the ones around the baron and dragon pit areas. This article shows every team's kills and deaths in each area. Keep in mind that a kill in a certain area does not necessarily mean that it was in an effort to secure the objective.

　　

Fighting in the Dragon Pit Area

The following graphic shows the kills and deaths for every team in the dragon pit area throughout the world championship. NWS had the highest K/D ratio in the area (3.00), and all three Korean teams had positive ratios, supporting the belief that the teams from this region are good at controlling this area and fighting for this objective. The two SEA teams, TPA and AHQ, had two of the lowest ratios which could mean that SEA is the weakest of the five major regions at fighting in the dragon area. TSM performed well in this stat and finished with the second highest ratio.

　　

Fighting in the Baron Pit Area

The Chinese teams sure do love to fight around the baron area. All three Chinese teams are in the top 5 and finished with positive ratios. SSW surprisingly had one of the lowest ratios. ALL had the lowest ratio in both lists.

　　

All Kills Mapped

These graphics show the kills per side and the k/d ratios per side for every team. There were 2238 deaths in the world championship (2234 kills and 4 executes).

Team K/D Ratios per Side:

Most teams tended to perform better on blue side, with the two teams with the largest blue side difference being NWS and LMQ. The two teams with the largest improvement on red side were SSW and OMG.
