HBO Max is the latest service to join a crowded streaming scene, but the sheer amount of content has already made it stand out from the pack. The platform combines movies and shows that were already available on HBO Now with a host of content from associated Warner channels, plus a load of third party content. There was a lot when the service launched, and even more is heading our way in July.

　　In terms of original content, one of the biggest titles is the three-part documentary series Expecting Amy, which follows comedian Amy Schumer as she creates a new stand-up special while dealing with a tricky pregnancy. There's also the adult animated comedy Close Enough, the family docusoap House of Ho, and animated children's series Tig n' Seek.

　　Movie fans have plenty to look forward to as well, including the Oscar-nominated Harriet Tubman biopic Harriet, Edward Norton's '50s-set thriller Motherless Brooklyn, and World War II drama Midway. The romantic comedy Last Christmas, starring Emilia Clarke, also makes its streaming debut on HBO max, although you might want to save that one for later in the year.

　　There are also loads of older favorites on the way too, such as both volumes of Kill Bill, Dumb & Dumber, National Lampoon's Vacation, and Saving Private Ryan. DC fans can watch all four of the original Superman movies, plus Zack Snyder's Watchmen adaptation, and a host of animated films. Finally, anime lovers will want to check out both seasons of the classic Blue Exorcist.
