Watch UFC Champion's Bloodborne Stream Interrupted by Drug-Testers-November 2024
Nov 16, 2024 6:56 PM

People who tuned in to watch UFC champion Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson play Bloodborne this weekend got something of a surprise when his Twitch stream was interrupted by drug-testers. No, really.

Some context: The UFC has commissioned the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) to randomly drug-test fighters as part of a new effort to clean up the sport. Before the new rules were instituted, players knew when they would be tested--on fight night--but now it can happen at any time. This includes when playing video games and broadcasting to the world.

According to Kotaku, before the USADA knocked on his door, several people in the Twitch chat were referencing how funny it would be if the anti-doping group decided to drug test him during the stream.

  Then it happened.

"One second, someone is knocking on my goddamn door like they're the police," he says to his viewers in the video above. "[Who] the f**k is knocking on my door like that?"

"Well, well, well! Come on in, USADA," you can hear Johnson say later in the clip as he invites the drug-testers in to collect blood and urine samples.

Johnson is taking it all in stride, it seems.

USADA just shut down the steam lol

Johnson is the current UFC Flyweight champion. His professional UFC record is an impressive 22-2-1.

He is also one of the playable characters in EA's upcoming EA Sports UFC 2.
