We're so used to seeing the people in charge of making decisions at the video game companies in business mode that we forget that--some of them--are also huge gamers.
We're not saying they all are, some of them are very obviously not. But for every [redacted] there's a Shuehei Yoshida. Sony's president of worldwide studios has made himself a man of the people with an affable demeanour and frequent name-dropping of games he likes.
Now, for those that needed further proof of Yoshida's skills as a video game player, watch the video below from a recent Nico Nico stream. In it, the PlayStation exec better known as Yosp takes on a Bloodborne boss like an absolute pro.
Admittedly, Bloodborne--as some obnoxious Souls fans are quick to remind people--isn't as difficult as previous From Software titles, but Yoshida's behaviours show he's a seasoned player.
The way he dances around the enemy to bait out opening, makes calculated dodges, and picks his moments to attack reveals that he's an old hand at Souls. It's impressive.
An expansion to Bloodborne was confirmed by Yoshida in May. He also confirmed that more information on the expansion would be released "later this year."
