Sony's movie streaming site Crackle on Thursday released the first trailer for Dead Rising: Watchtower, a new full-length movie based on Capcom's zombie action series.
Like the game, Watchtower takes place during a zombie outbreak. After a government-produced vaccine fails to stop the infection from spreading, four survivors seek out the root of the epidemic while fighting to stay alive against hordes of undead.
The four leads are:
Jesse Metcalfe -- (John Tucker Must Die, Desperate Housewives, Dallas)Meghan Ory -- (Once Upon A Time, Intelligence)Virginia Madsen -- (Sideways, Candyman, The Number 23)Dennis Haysbert -- (24, The Unit)Comedian Rob Riggle will also appear in the movie, playing the role of Frank West. He delivers a pretty great line in the trailer above, but we won't spoil it for you.
Watchtower was directed by Leprechaun: Origins director Zach Lipovsky. It is produced by Godzilla and Warcraft studio Legendary Entertainment's TV and Digital Media division.
