A new update for Warframe is now available. This new update introduces a new warframe and several other changes. The update also brings a new event known as Citrine's Last Wish, which brings an ancient love story rife with tragedy told through new Mirror Defense missions. Of course, these new missions will also come with a myriad of rewards.

　　Citrine's Last Wish will introduce a new warframe known as Citrine, making her the 52nd Warframe to join the ever-growing roster of playable space warriors. Players can unlock this new warframe today alongside her exclusive weapons, customizations, and accessories through Platinum. Alternatively, players can also gain access to Citrine by collecting rewards from the newly introduced Mirror Defense missions to farm her blueprints.

　　So, let's talk about those Mirror Defense Missions. Essentially, these missions are going to be much like the classic Defense Missions with a twist. You have to defend objectives simultaneously across both Venus and Mars as you learn of Citrine's fateful journey to reunite two ancient lovers from the Old War who were tragically encased in crystal and lost to time.

　　Citrine’s Last Wish also includes highly-anticipated Customizations, including Drifter Visage Ink facial art, which you can use to personalize your look further, the intimidatingly insectoid Rhino Deathwatch Deluxe skin, plus new Augments and the Ember Voidshell Skin. All the Customization options will be available in the Warframe Market and can be purchased for Platinum.

　　Additionally, the update will also bring several quality-of-life improvements to enhance the Warframe experience for players. Some of these improvements include adjustments to the Tauforged Archon Shard pity system, open-world lighting, cloth-smoothing technology,, and added status effect buffs.

　　The Warframe Citrine's Last Wish update will be available today. Warframe is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. All of these versions currently can play the game together with crossplay.
