Nintendo, still flushed from the Wii's record-breaking debut in Australia, isn't letting up with announcements on the Wii front. The company has unveiled 10 more games slated for release on its Virtual Console service down under, which will bring the total number of available games to 28 before the end of 2006.
Nintendo Australia will add new Virtual Console titles every Friday until the end of the year. Australia's list is being updated every Friday at 10 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), and New Zealand's list is being updated at 12 p.m. AEST. In Australia, Nintendo Entertainment System games will cost 500 Wii points, Super NES games will cost 800 Wii points, and Nintendo 64 games will cost 1,000 points. Sega Mega Drive (known as Sega Genesis in the US) titles will cost 800 Wii points. Australian Wii owners can buy 2,000 points for A$30 ($23.40).
