The United Cyber Games Association has announced that the US finals for the Samsung-sponsored World Cyber Games will be held at the Ultimate Gamers Expo, which is scheduled for August 15 to 17 in Los Angeles. As previously announced, the US qualifying and semifinal rounds for the US competition are to be held this summer at CompUSA locations. The tournament is unusual in that it includes six separate PC games: Half-Life: Counter-Strike, Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft III, Age of Mythology, Unreal Tournament 2003, and FIFA 2003.
The first ever Ultimate Gamers Expo will feature three days of game demonstrations and tournaments and will be open to the public. More details on the UGE can be found on the event's Web site.
