Gamers need wait only one more month for Trials Evolution, the sequel to 2009's multimillion-selling downloadable racing game Trials HD, according to Eurogamer. Is Trials Evolution climbing the hill to Xbox Live on April 18?
The site reports that a Wednesday, April 18, release date for the game was displayed on the title's product page at Xbox.com. Xbox Live Arcade titles are typically released on Wednesdays. The listing currently shows a December 31, 2799, release date.
A Ubisoft representative told GameSpot, "Right now we are targeting a Spring launch. We don't have a firm release date yet as the game has not yet completed the certification process."
Trials Evolution is currently in development at RedLynx. The game was announced at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo with a 2012 release window attached, though it was later narrowed to spring 2012.
Trials Evolution sports 60 tracks spanning hills, valleys, rivers, and roads, as well as urban and industrial-type areas. The game supports four-player local and online play, as well as a track editor system and a means to share creations online.
