Twin Galaxies has announced that 23 competitors in its Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 competition have been awarded prizes. The winner of the competition, Zabed Mahmood from Long Island City, NY, won $1000 and will be entered into the Official Video Game & Pinball Book of World Records. The competition was held using the PlayStation version of the game, and prizes were awarded for best combo and high score. Nearly 1000 competitors entered the four-month competition worldwide by submitting scores online. The top 53 finalists submitted their runs on videotape for final judging.
