The Dawnguard expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came to the Xbox 360 in June and the PC earlier this month, but it has yet to be released for the PlayStation 3, despite elapsing its one-month Microsoft exclusivity. Addressing its absence on Twitter recently, Bethesda marketing manager Pete Hines insisted development on the game's just announced Hearthfire DLC is not the reason Dawnguard has yet to come to the PS3. Dawnguard still doesn't have a release date for the PS3.
"We are working on multiple projects, even beyond [Dawnguard and Hearthfire]," Hines said. "The entire team doesn't work on one thing at a time." He added, "We're disappointed too, but we're keeping at it."
Dawnguard is the first expansion to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. GameSpot's review of the content found the expansion to be an atmospheric and enjoyable return to the frigid lands of Skyrim. For more on the content, check out GameSpot's review and walkthrough of Dawnguard.
