Barracuda announced Wednesday the opening of the new official site for Timelapse, a graphical adventure game republished in June 1998 by Hammerhead Entertainment that has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide since its original 1996 release by the now-defunct GTE Entertainment.

　　The web site contains a large gallery of screenshots, a "making of" section, consumer testimonials, desktop animations, product information, support, and related links.

　　Barracuda is a Southern California-based software sales and marketing consulting firm of which Hammerhead Entertainment is a division.

　　"We've been diligently working on this site for over a month and it really shows," said Michael Kaye, president of Barracuda. "Now that the title is selling again, I think the legions of loyal Timelapse gamers out there, both new and old, will gladly welcome the return of an officially sponsored Timelapse web site."

　　"I'm confident that anyone interested in learning more about Timelapse will definitely find all the information they need in this site to make an informed purchase decision on whether or not Timelapse is a game for them," continued Kaye.

　　"There are a number of fantastic unofficial sites created by fans of Timelapse that have been carrying the torch for us in the interim before we launched our own site," said Mike Yuen, vice president of Barracuda.
