Hori produces some of the coolest gamepads on the market, and if you’re looking for a new Switch controller, you’ll want to take a look at the upcoming Wireless Horipad Pro that’s inspired by The Legend of Zelda. The highly anticipated controller is up for preorder on Amazon--but since they’ve already sold out once, we recommend moving fast if you want to reserve a unit.
The big selling point of the controller is its striking design. Its color scheme is largely black, with some light grey accents that depict Link alongside dozens of iconic locations from the Zelda franchise. There’s also a gold Hylian Crest just below the left analog stick.

A cool design isn’t all your money is getting you, as the Horipad Pro is officially licensed by Nintendo. This means it supports motion controls (thanks to an accelerometer and gyroscope), offers a 32-foot range, is designed to be lightweight, and features highly responsive buttons and triggers.
It's slated for a July 28 release, so you won't have to wait too long to get your hands on the stylish gamepad.
If you’re looking for other Zelda merch, be sure to check out our massive roundup--which includes everything from shirts and Amiibo to carrying cases and wall art. There are also a handful of controllers on the list, all of which look pretty cool--though the Horipad might sport the best design of the bunch.
Beyond Tears of the Kingdom--which is discounted at Amazon right now--there’s no shortage of great upcoming Switch games that could make use of the Zelda Horipad. Here are a few to consider once you’ve wrapped up Link’s latest adventure:
