The Witcher 3 final piece of additional content, the Blood and Wine expansion, and its final update have been released a while back, and with CDPR main team being busy with Cyberpunk 2077, we won't be receiving anything new in the future. Thankfully, plenty of modders are still working hard to provide fans new features and even content.
A recently released The Witcher 3 mod called Complete Animations, introduces some new animations that definitely enhance immersion, such as animations for looting, sharpening, applying blade oils, drinking and eating and more. The mod also offers more control on how animations will play.
Featuring animations and options:
Eating - Also alternate eating animation, togglable, adjustable speed for both versions independently
Horn Eating Anim in combat - togglable
Drinking - Also alternate drinking animation, togglable, adjustable speed for both versions independently
Horn Drinking Anim in combat - togglable
Eating/Drinking from inventory - togglable
Applying oil - togglable, adjustable speed
Looting containers - for all containers except dead bodies, togglable, adjustable starting speed, adjustable ending speed, animation will wait as long as you browse through loot popup, animation ends when you close popup
Looting dead body - different animation for dead bodies, uses loot toggle, other options same as regular looting
