Ubisoft has released the patch notes for The Division's upcoming Incursions update, which comes to the game on April 12 across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The are lots of new features, gameplay changes, and bug fixes, all of which are outlined below.
Posted on The Division's website, the patch notes start off by covering the update's new features like the Falcon Lost raid-like Incursion and the new gear sets coming to the game next week. Also in the "new features" section are more details about the newly announced Operation ISAC challenge series and player trading, as well as some new weapons and Dark Zone Supply Drops.
Moving to gameplay changes, The Division's Incursions update removes the ability for the Turret skill to suppress enemy NPCs. "This allowed named NPCs to be defeated too easily," Ubisoft said.
In the Dark Zone, the vendor in the Church Safe House will now sell items for Dark Zone Funds instead of Phoenix Credits. Additionally, a new Dark Zone bracket for characters with a Gear Score of 160+ has been introduced, while ranking requirements for some items at the Dark Zone vendors have been changed:
Superior (Purple) items: Rank 15 instead of 30High-End (Gold) level 30 (Gear Score 163): Rank 25 instead of 50High-End (Gold) level 31 (Gear Score 182): Rank 40 instead of 50There are also crafting changes included with the update, as the costs for converting crafting materials and crafting high-end items has been increased. Additionally, the deconstruction yield for standard and high-end items has been adjusted to yield one material instead of two.
The Division's Incursions update also adds a new gamepad deadzone calibration option to the settings menu across all platforms.
Finally, The Division's upcoming patch fixes lots of bugs, including the game-breaking problem related to crafting high-end backpacks. It also fixes a few locations where NPCs could shoot through walls. There are also a number of PC-specific changes, including the introduction of new resolution scaling and lighting options, as well as the ability to report players when they notice bad behavior or other suspicious activity.
A file size for The Division's April 12 update was not announced.
