The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games today released the world premiere gameplay trailer for its upcoming Borderlands adventure game series, Tales from the Borderlands.
In addition to releasing the trailer, Telltale Games confirmed casting details for Tales from the Borderlands. Below is a roundup of the actors and their roles for the game.
Troy Baker (Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, BioShock Infinite) - RhysNolan North (Uncharted, Assassin's Creed) - AugustLaura Bailey (Saints Row IV, The Last of Us) - FionaChris Hardwick (@midnight, Nerdist) - VaughnErin Yvette (The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us) - SashaPatrick Warburton (Seinfeld, Family Guy) - VasquezDameon Clark (24, NCIS) - Handsome JackTales from the Borderlands takes place on Pandora after the events of Borderlands 2. It is told from the perspective of two different characters, Rhys and Fiona. Specifically, the game's story will be told through flashbacks, allowing you to play through different versions of the same events with both characters.
The first episode in the Tales from the Borderlands series launches later this year. Episodes will be sold for $5 each, and Telltale will also offer a season pass. Telltale has not yet specified platforms, but the company's past projects have launched for PC, consoles, and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
Telltale is keeping busy, as the studio also plans to launch the first of six episodes in its Game of Thrones series later this year. On top of that, the studio is working on a third season of The Walking Dead.
