Representatives at Tecmo informed GameSpot News Thursday that Tecmo's Deception 2, the sequel to last year's PlayStation reverse RPG wherein players set evil traps for unwary adventurers, has slipped back to a second or third quarter '98 US release.
In related news, the company's Saturn 2D/3D fighting game, Dead or Alive, has been in the top-ten sales charts in Japan since its release. A PlayStation version of Dead or Alive is also planned.
Both games should hit the US this February - with an English translation and several name changes in place.
