  The first two spots at this season's Star Ladder Star Series event have been confirmed via the Chinese regional qualifiers. Team DK and Invictus Gaming will be making their first trip to Kiev, Ukraine next month to take part in the offline finals on April 17th to the 20th. The offline finals will be covered by in Russian by the SLTV team and in English by the Beyond The Summit studio.

  Team DK will take the number one seed after Invictus Gaming opted to not play in the final best of three series after defeating Newbee 2-1 which sealed their position at the offline event.

  The remaining six slots will be taken up by one team from America, one team from Korea and finally four teams from Europe & CIS.

  This season of Star Ladder is quickly turning into one of the largest third party offline events with the prize pool currently standing at $115,987 after seeing a ~145% increase on the base prize pool thanks to the major success of their latest ticket bundle which boosts the overall prize pool by $2.50 for each bundle sold.
