Take 2 Interactive said on Wednesday that it has closed on its deal with BMG Entertainment in which Take 2 acquires all the assets of BMG Interactive, a division of BMG Entertainment.
Take 2 also entered into a two-year agreement with BMG Entertainment, "which calls for BMG Entertainment to provide certain, pick, pack, ship, credit, and collections services in France and Germany for Take 2 Interactive Software Europe Ltd., wholly owned European sales, marketing, publishing, and distribution arm."
BMG Entertainment is a multibillion dollar entertainment division of Bertelsmann, AG, and home to music labels that include Arista Records, RCA Records, Windham Hill Group, and Ariola.
