　　Aah…Comic-Con--that wonderful time of year when we pack up our office and make the long journey down to San Diego, California, to spend five fabulous days inside the Convention Center while we crowd among literally thousands of hardcore comic fans. To see what is on our minds and what we are looking forward to for Comic-Con 2011, check out this video! There's also a written preview of our plans so far.

　　Live Coverage!

　　We aim to please when it comes to our live shows, and you can expect an even crazier experience because it's San Diego Comic-Con! We'll have daily stage shows, live cam guy, and Tonight on the Spot special episodes you won't want to miss. There are two GameSpot achievements up for grabs this year, so watch as much as you can!

　　Surprises Galore!

　　This year you'll also want to look out for some surprises, because we have many up our sleeves. Also, another thing you should look out for is an image feature where you can interact with other GameSpotters, so check back later this week to see what that's all about.

　　With all the super activities to prepare for Comic-Con, we started wondering what Super Identity we were associated with. After all the fun we had discussing it and tossing the idea around the office, we've decided to ask you GameSpotters what you thought our supersecret identities were. 　　Who's better, DC or Marvel? We all know that this is a hot topic among those comic book illuminates, and we want to see the fight! In this thread, you and your fellow GameSpotters can duke it out over who is the better publisher, who is the better hero, and whether or not Wonder Woman looks better in her hot pants or her no pants.

　　Union Exclusive Comic-Con Coverage Activity

　　Calling all unions! GameSpot will be at Comic-Con to cover the event, but we are interested to see what the unions can come up with. For those of you who would like to participate, show us your best Comic-Con-inspired coverage by posting bulletin updates for a chance to receive the Union of the Week along with a union power-up! 　　GameSpot Comic-Con Anthem Contest

　　An event as momentous as Comic-Con is deserving of a tune to call its own. Most of you likely saw JodyR's E3 Video on our YouTube Spotlight Channel. And we thought it was such a good idea that we couldn't help but get the users in on it! We want you to come up with your very own anthem to Comic-Con by crafting a parody of several popular songs by various artists. What could you win, you may wonder.
