The System Shock remake launch got postponed once more, but hopefully, this will be the last time. The game was supposed to hit the market by the end of March, but plans have changed again. After multiple delays and a rather troubled development path, the PC edition of the iconic 1994 sci-fi adventure will be available on May 30.

　　The remake is currently available to pre-order on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The Steam Next Fest game demo can also be found and downloaded for free from the stores above. System Shock Remake early buyers will get a free copy of the upcoming System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, which still has no confirmed release date.

　　The System Shock remake aims to provide a fully enhanced experience to players, combining the iconic gameplay of the original 1994 FPS with new tweaks and an upgraded hacking system. As you would expect, the game will also feature high-definition graphics.

　　The game will include an updated control system, a revised interface, and brand-new sounds and music. Players will find new combat options and make use of stealth and futuristic weapons to explore the Citadel Station. Many traps, puzzles, and secrets also wait to be discovered on a dangerous mission to save the Earth from destruction.

　　System requirements for the System Shock Remake PC version are listed below. Recommended specs are not that demanding, as they suggest an NVIDIA GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU and a third-gen Intel Core i7 or AMD FX-8350 processor.
