Acclaim Entertainment has today shipped the Xbox and GameCube versions of SX Superstar to stores in North America. The game challenges players to assume the role of an amateur supercross rider living in a small apartment and advance up through the ranks so they can enjoy the lavish lifestyle of a top professional.
"In SX Superstar, players don't just race to win, they race to improve the quality of their virtual lives," said Ben Fischbach, director of AKA Acclaim. "By adding this new lifestyle element to the action sports category, we are providing players with a new incentive to push the game to its limits and simultaneously build their career and character."
