Acclaim Entertainment has today announced that Summer Heat Beach Volleyball for the PlayStation 2 has shipped to stores across North America. The game, which was developed in the UK by Acclaim's Cheltenham studio, allows players to take part in two-on-two volleyball matches at 12 exotic locations all over the world. The game features five different gameplay modes in all and a number of hidden features and characters that players will need to unlock.
"Summer Heat Beach Volleyball was designed to provide a strong gameplay experience featuring an intuitive control system that makes the game very easy to learn and play," said David Knies, director of Acclaim Sports. "The result is a fast and addictive arcade-style volleyball game that is sure to provide hours of fun for PS2 owners."
