With the launch of Turner Broadcasting System's GameTap gaming subscription service set for October 3, the company today announced that it has selected Stuart Snyder as GameTap's general manager. Snyder, who previously served as president and CEO of Montreal-based entertainment production company Cinar Corporation, will oversee the day-to-day marketing, programming, development, and distribution of GameTap. Snyder had previously served as president and COO of WWF Entertainment, the pro wrestling organization now known as the WWE.
