Street Fighter 5 Supports Steam Controller, Steam OS
Street Fighter 5 Supports Steam Controller, Steam OS-November 2024
Nov 2, 2024 2:34 AM

The PC version of Street Fighter V offers support for two of Valve's more recent offerings, the Steam Controller and Steam OS.

Capcom announced the news in a blog post today, though it didn't have any further details to share. The company says it's "working closely with Valve on this endeavor" and will offer further information "in the near future."

It's unclear if this support will be in place at the time of Street Fighter V's launch in February or if it will be added later. The game's Steam page hasn't yet been updated to reflect this, as it still states that a 64-bit version of Windows 7 (or newer) is required to play.

Steam OS is Valve's Linux-based operating system that anyone can download for free. It's also pre-installed on some Steam Machines.

As for Steam Controller support, this functionality is in place now. Those who are able to participate in this weekend's beta test can give it a try using the controller, which was recently updated with some new features.
