Simon & Schuster announced this morning that its second Star Trek desktop game, called Starship Creator: Warp 2, has gone gold and should be on store shelves later this week. Warp 2 lets gamers create their own Federation and Klingon starships and captains, and embark on one of 34 scenarios.
Additionally, Warp 2 will give players the ability to export one of the ships they create for use with Gizmo Games' upcoming real-time strategy game, Dominion Wars. Starship Creator: Warp 2 will be available for both the PC and the Mac platforms for US$29.95.
