The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) announced its list of Hollywood and gaming personalities that will be attending its second annual Interactive Achievement Awards scheduled for May 13 during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles.
The awards are given to those who help to advance achievement in the interactive arts. Guest presenters include Chris Roberts (Director of Wing Commander), Bruno Campos (from the TV show Jesse), and Sugar Ray Leonard. Roberts and his love for gaming need no introduction, Campos has played games since the days of Pong, and Sugar Ray is the star of EA Sports' upcoming Knockout Kings.
Stars of the gaming community who will be in attendance include Shigeru Miyamoto, designer of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time; Peter Molyneux, creator of Populous; Bruce Shelley, designer of Age of Empires; Gilman Louie, creator of Falcon; David Perry, of Earthworm Jim fame; and Jez San, creator of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
Other presenters include Kelly Hu (Martial Law), Zachary Ty Bryan (Home Improvement), Tia and Tamera Mowry (Sister Sister), Coolio, David Gallagher (7th Heaven), Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years), Nicholle Tom (The Nanny) and Ben Stein (Win Ben Stein's Money).
